Key Responsibilities & Duties
· Guest Services: Welcoming guests warmly, managing check-ins/check-outs, and handling special requests.
· Reservations & Billing: Handling phone/online bookings, processing payments, and updating guest folios.
· Communication Hub: Operating the Property Management System (PMS), answering calls, and acting as the main link between guests and departments (housekeeping/maintenance).
· Concierge Duties: Providing information on hotel facilities, local attractions, and, in some cases, managing luggage or transport.
· Safety & Compliance: Verifying guest IDs (passport/Aadhaar) for security and adhering to hotel policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Education: Degree/ Degree in Hotel Management is highly preferred.
· Experience: 0-2 years, with previous experience as a trainee or in customer service advantageous.
· Skills: Excellent communication (English and local language), interpersonal skills, computer proficiency (MS Office), and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
· Attributes: Well-groomed, polite, and customer-centric.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to stand for long periods, as the job involves continuous desk duty and walking around the lobby.
